Persimmon Plant Shortage

A recent <a href=”http://www.stuff.co.nz/southland-times/life-style/106214531/Get-in-line-for-an-avocado-tree-orders-mount-up-as-planting-season-approaches”>article</a> from Southland Times confirmed this, with Waikato’s Wairere Nursery reporteddly sitting on 86 orders for Hass avocado plants. And while the article was about avocado plants, owner Lloyd Houghton said “There’s a wait list for persimmons, too, he said, and about 100 people missed out”.
